Snow amts in ADKs and Cats ?

When I left Hermit's house around 3pm yesterday from West Shokan, they had about 2-3" of really west slush and when it changed the rain in the afternoon they were getting a good soaking...

There's places down here in NJ who had 9" of rain yesterday and it's still coming down today!! Of course, we had no snow down here and it was all rain.

There are some reports over on ADKHPs of a few inches, up to 28" of snow near Tupper Lake! :eek:

A few reports from the Catskills of a few inches. Laurie says there was rain, wind, sleet, ice, snow on the drive to work today!
 
Catskill Snow and Rain accumulations

Greene County (northern Catskills) has declared a county wide state of emergency:
"Travel is not advised in Greene County due to storm damage and due to flooding.
Effective Dates: Starting on 04/16/07 05:33 PM until further notice."​
edit: The Greene county-wide state of emergency was lifted at noon 04/17/07. All state highways in the Catskills are open, however, some local roads remain closed due to flooding.

Given the following storm totals many Catskill hiking stream fords/crossings are likely to be impassable or difficult for a few days.

Catskill snowfall was 4-12 inches, some totals.
