Lost Gear - Just half

Recently, I lost one of the tails from my MSRs. I don't even know what state the lost one is in!

This is NOT a lost and found plea, so mods, please do not delete/lock until this has been discussed a little.

I was wondering if we could keep a thread open where people report lost halves of gear items.

Instead of having to buy a new pair of XYZ's, we could post lost or found halves, in hopes someone has the other half to buy or sell.

Sorry to do it, Tom, but posting half of the item turns into the same thing. Either a lost and found or its equivalent. Darren might feel differently, but up to now, we haven't wanted want adds, lost and founds and this seems to be the same thing.
