Mohamed if you want a hiking buddy sometime, I can get out most days during the week. Even though I love winter hiking, like you I do not care for spring hiking up high were the snow is rotten! So anything lower until the snow goes is fine by me!

Thank you for the green spot, Mohamed. I appreciate your generosity very much. The old Tuckerbrook ski trail does not appear on any current maps that I've seen, but I'll have to check some older ones. (Surely it appears on an old Mittersill ski map.) Rocket21 has wondered if it was built by the CCCs in the 1930s -- it'd make an interesting research project to find out.
