Yes, yes we did dislike the same section of the Grafton Loop! That was such ick, and near the end of a 14 mile day with freshly full packs, I was not a happy hiker I tell you what

thanks for the greenie..a great day out on the trails for sure..not often you get such a warm day..a little breeze..good views..dry trails..what's not to like..Love your adventures from Maine..it is such a different kind of hiking over there..your stories and the rest of you guys adventures gives me that bit of desire to push just that little bit more..get back in the flow..so far so good

gotta to make some calls about next summer - I have been invited on a denali trip, but not sure its gonna work since thats 3 weeks and I have to go to scotland next summer for a family thing..., I might head back to the cascades and attemp mt baker for a week. if I do the latter, you would be more than welcome to join. your def strong enough, its just getting ya up to speed on the glacier **** - no problem... we'll talk. I was gonna run it by Hui anyway - maybe we make an attempt on rainier as well.... get a few more folks involved, etc.. long ways off... we'll talk. see ya sherps????

I'm at 21/48, though I must admit I've been slacking quite a bit on the list. Passing up an awesome traverse or a Pemi Loop to do something like Tom/Field/Willey just isn't worth it for me right now! Nevertheless I'm still hoping for an August finish...

hey Kim...thanks for the condolescences... things turned out okay and actually we kind of like the Unknown Pond Trail from Stark..woodsy but great footbed..no crossings...
