  • Let's see... Tuesday, Jan. 5, or Friday the 8th would probably be my best days. I might be able to make Wednesday the 30th work. Right now, though, weekends work best for me. Don't schedule the hike around my schedule, though. If I miss this one, there will be others soon.
THANK YOU. Do you think the NWS means for us to read their stuff as if they're shouting? Best of the season to you, --Mike.
You are most welcome. The rumors are correct... Tim and I had a fantastic Bonds traverse (even though the mountains were, unfortunately, stuck in a cloud for the entire day)!
Many thanks for the green-spot, Cat de Bark. I think Jeremy warrants a cameo appearance in *every* Trip Report! Catch up with you and Sandra soon, I hope.
yeah, I was composing a green square msg, hit return by mistake in the middle of it w/ no way of fixing.
No worries, it's all good. I'll get back out there in a couple of weeks, I hope, though I will start small. I expect to be back to 4K hiking by the time official winter rolls around. That's the hope, anyway.

You are most very welcome! Yes, I recognize you!! Looking forward to seeing you again, hopefully soon.
Most of the time, with a little notice, we can hike during the week. Liz may not have as much flexability as me, but shouln't be a problem. Thanks Skip.
Clay, It was great to see you again! I noticed some discussion down on a previous post about the Elwell Trail, keep me in the loop if you like. That neighborhood is old stomping grounds of mine but not the trail. Would really like to get out on that one. Presuming you would start by Wellington right?
Good to see you again on Sunday. If you can ever get Sandra away from the B&B, Liz and I would love to do a hike together. You pick it, we'll hike it.
Happy to give out greenies for excellence, my friend. Say, when you and I and Jeremy et al are up on Moosilauke for TrishandAlex Day, let's talk about doing an Elwell Traverse before winter sets in. I'd love to hike the length of the trail with you, and it sounds like Jeremy is interested too. Maybe we could even do a little light trail maintenance along the way, clearing smaller blowdowns and such. I've got a couple appropriate saws.
Hey guys..gotta love Sandwich Creamery..was quite busy at the shop today but would have managed a hello for sure..I happenned through Bristol a couple of times recently and looked to see if you might have been on the porch..place looks great..se you soon..

Thanks for the words of encouragement. My post was deleted, but your greenie remains! I guess folks that don't spend enough time around here might take my sarcasm to heart, but (as you can obviously tell), it's all in good fun.
I did an out and back to Lincoln via the Skook...saw a VFTT sticker in the Skook parking lot and figured I'd run into someone, but alas I didn't!
