On our recent first visit to the Whites, my wife and I climbed that trail on a loop hike to Eisenhower. It was the most Adirondack-like section of trail we encountered over the course of four days of hiking. Mud, roots, rocks...not sure if that's a good thing, but it did give us both a good...
