Not going to happen. There is some other motive for stirring up this hornets nest. Maybe political or extreem positioning for something else so there can be compromise on a different issue/agenda?

A lot of ice covered rocks on Lower Wolfjaw, put screws in my boot souls. Very hazardous condtitions. Cold, clear blue sky (very pretty) and no wind.

Funny but sad. There is some truth in the above for sure but I like to think this is the exception rather than th rule. I think the people just forgot to send it back, stupid, not very nice but not malicious or so I hope and maybe just maybe this story isn't over yet, just delayed.

You are a far better person for the loss, much greater than the cost of the lamp. You good man and did good and I bet you'd do it again if in a similar situation. Now you've learned to carry a small cheap backup lamp or two. Don't change. Bee happy. :)

Wonderfull trip report. The girls are very lucky to have these experiences. I can't help but wonder how these positive epic events will influence their adult lives? We may be reading their stories some day, I hope. Job Well Done! :cool:
