Dry River trail is another nice option for this peak. Down Davis makes a nice loop except for a little pounding pavement back to the car.

Anyone have any experience hiking this trail in North Central PA? There was an article in a magazine a few years ago (Amc or Backpacker?) about a family that did it with a Lama packing there gear. There is very limted if any re-supply options other than trail head stashes.
