    Jay Range was awesome ! Haven't done Saddleback yet so, defineitly plan on getting back in that area.

    Excellent ! Did a similar trip a few days before you. Sorry, would have given you a ride. That Desolation/Stilwater/Carrigan notch north area has always been a favorite of mine. Skiped Lowell/Anderson due to the " car-wash " factor so, just hit Carriagan and Whitewall from the south...

    Ah yes, West Field. I think we determined that we would be a little short on water for the whack over from Whitewall. The 4 hour summit time on Whitewall wasn't to tough to handle though... We'll be back !

    Has anyone ever been to the unnamed peak (3691) between Whitewall and Field ? I'm eyeballing this one for for mid week and wonder how the whacking would be from Whitewall summit over there.

    Bump. still looking for ideas but it will be a 5 nighter now. I'm a little spent on the high peaks region and would really like to check out the backpacking/canoe camping options in the ADK central region. any idea's would be most helpful ! Thanks, Steve-o :)
