    No doubt the net snowpack went down with the wet weather the last few days, but a reminder that its still April in northern NH. Just a trace of fresh snow on elevated surfaces at 1400 feet at the Gorham/Randolph line.

    BTW, daily variation from day to night are pretty obvious on the gages, that means the snow is right on the edge of turning into water so just a bit of sun or rain makes a big difference in streamflow.

    Hard to beat the forecast for this afternoon. No doubt it will be sloppy out there. The sun and temps really did a number on the snow pack but my guess for those heading into the woods that the impact was less in the shady softwoods.
