    At Least Get Jackson, 4/20/2013

Hey Sierra, Thanks. Yup, I finished it with Sue February 16 on Madison (Adams was #575 and Madison was #576). It was a very low-key event. Peakbagger joined us on the hike. As I recall, you and I first met on 1/1/2006 just as I was starting winter hiking, and as it turns out just as I was...

    At Least Get Jackson, 4/20/2013

Hey Ian,.... Good job on the blowdown. I didn't have my saw with me or I would have done some trimming as well. Now, where's the picture? Is it possible you're not showing it because of what Marlie did to the snowman?? :D

Base Road - Marshfield Station Parking Status???

Thanks Dennis. Yeah, it's a poor choice of words. The only "open" or "closed" part of the trailhead lot is the outhouse. I believe it is blocked shut (closed) in winter.

Base Road - Marshfield Station Parking Status???

Does anybody have current information on the parking status for Ammonoosuc Ravine - Jewell trails? Is the trailhead lot now open or are hikers still using the lower lot at Marshfield Station? Thanks.

Tripyramids With Great Spring Conditions, 4/23/2013

Knowing what I know now, if the Tripyramids were the primary importance and the route to them was secondary, I'd probably hike from Livermore. The Scaur Ridge Trail coming up from Livermore was tracked out to PBB. I'd guess trail finding is not a problem and the terrain is much friendlier from...

    At Least Get Jackson, 4/20/2013

Oh yeah, thanks. Maybe I did forget, for a minute. I've learned memory is one of the first things to go as the years start to accumulate. You're not there yet, but give it time. ;) I guess this explains why the hike was feeling a little redundant; like Groundhog Day. :)
