It was wet and cold, didnt get in the hike But did visit Aunt Pollys which is awesome, long wait thought..1.5hrs .... drove the Loop , Kac trees are Peaking full seem, eastern side little less, Crawford Notch not quite peak , north, same and coming back into the Fran notch Full peak... alot of...

Boy it sure looks WET! Yet saturday is promising but 7 hrs drive for one possible day?? maybe back Home in the ADKS would be a wiser choice.... :(

saturdays our big hike.. sunday. pancakes and driving looking..sat doing either 2 or 4 peaks from layfayette to Flume... sundays drive was hoping to drive from campground to conway around thru crawford Notch and back around then keep heading west Home..:) does it matter CW or CCW of this loop...

looks like saturday doing the Fran. ridge and sunday up early and drive around... just need to figure out the car spot and which direction to do the loop..Suggestions? CW or CCW ??

is it that hard to get spots at lafayette campground this time of year?? why is it so busy at a campground??

you all nailed my route and info needed.... so sounds like one day should bve set to hike, sat, then early start and circumnavigate this route having plenty of time to looksee and get headed West before to late in the day...staying at Layfayette campground seems to be best unless theres a car...

Im hoping to take a nice drive and be a leaf Peeper on 9-29......Drive the loop of kancamangus Hwy(rt 112) and around rt 3...Can anyone suggest a trip including my drive from syracuse to here, route, camping spots for friday and sat., maybe a Peak to climb or sites to see...any pancake places I...

sweet day over nice skys headed to The Tooth... Late arrival at the Loj gave myself and my friend Holly, AKA stillwaters, a parking spot at SM, in which I've never seen so many cars parked on the side of the road when leaving....(am left the Loj and with a steady pace on Top of Iroquois around...

Being my first time up Mt. Adams Jack assured me there was an escaltor once the real climing started, yet he forgot to tell me to get a lift ticket so I continued the hard way, and yes, its a long relenteless climb but few breaks it soon was over, being my first time back to any climbing since...
