    I believe Geigerrig also makes "camelback" like daypacks with a sheath and pocket for the pump tube, etc. My friends had packs from G. as well as the bladders... these packs were small enough to be daypacks and not really backpacks. Jay

    If you're wearing shorts, you could possibly just tie bandanas around the knee, somewhat loosely to help in the few spots that you might use it. The bandanas has multiple uses which may justify the weight and they're probably lighter than real knee pads... Jay

    I agree with peakbagger, it really depends on what your intended route is. Suggest to pick a route and try to find a campground around it. It is NOT out of the question to drive around but it is inconvenient in many cases... Jay

    I normally put on my bear suit and I hide, waiting for oncoming hikers.. Then I jump out and charge them until they turn around and run in the opposite direction.. Problem solved. :D Jay

    You know it when your tent/rain jacket starts to age when he seam tape starts to disintegrate into a horrible mess. Has anybody had a good experience in seam sealing it with either new seamtape or a seam sealer? I have an old Kokatat paddling jacket that gets cooked in my kayak on hot summer...
