Have you ever tried talking with the 'heathens' about the fragile alpine plants?? I think sometimes visitors to the area are not aware of the fragility of the plants and just need a friendly reminder :)

hi peter- i've heard of superfeet but not spencos. are they a full insert? i would just bring in your boots and try out the different ones,most stores will let you do that. i've also seen gel inserts just for the heel areas, they look like they would be comfy. karen

i purchased the ba air pad and used it last summer and found it to be a total chore!! nevermind that it's very slippery, i actually had to make a barricade at the end of my tent to keep me from sliding, it was ridiculous : ) i'll stick with my thermorest : )

over the winter while unloading my dryer with crocs on foot, i kept getting these powerful shocks, and it was only when i was wearing my crocs that i noticed them, it was weird the shocks came from underfoot. i never put 2 and 2 together, thanks. kmac
