It's amazing what what a hike can do to for your soul... i've had many of those hikes this passed summer...pushing myself to push out some aggressions...taking some stress out on a trail, on a mountain...after all, it's a mountain and can take that from a person... Bucklin Trail is an awesome...

I had visited the crash site earlier this year with skimom, gillian, mookie and some others. I think we had headed south from the peak on the LT to reach the trail that passes the crash site...we saw a wing section i guess or part of the fuselage...can't remember really. What i do remember was...

I have yet to see a moose while hiking, but have seen most of the usual suspects as depicted in prior posts. My favorite encounter was on Wachusett this past winter. A rather large owl flew silently passed me and perched itself maybe thirty yards up-trail from me. i was able to watch and follow...
