Like Chip, I'm also doing a different peak for "Flags on the 48" every year. Hoping to carry the same flag for all 48. I have 7 out of 48 so far and will be 78 when I'm done.

This is great news. Hopefully this guy was the main source of the break-ins and his capture can give some hikers peace of mind about leaving their cars at trailheads. Still, it's good to practice not leaving anything valuable in plain sight and being mindful of broken glass in parking lots.

A parking sticker is a nice perk. I wish the AMC did that for my trail work.

The Website does not reflect it now, but we do have a cancellation of the primary hikers on Mt. Isolation. We are trying to get in touch with the secondary hikers to see if they mind being responsable for the peak. If anyone would let to jump in and help out, that would be the peak right...

1. Edmands Path / Crawford Path Junction to the Jewell Trail/Ammo Lot. Would make a nice loop. 2. Mt. Pemigewasset Summit to the Kinsman Ridge Trail near Harrington Pond. Open up some long loop oppurtunities. 3. Welch-Dickey Loop to Tecumseh. Looks like it would be interesting walking.
