Money! The fam and I were up there over the weekend. Stopped at Ben and Jerrys first and then to the Cider Mill...the kids liked 'em better than the NEW Chocowlate ice cream! Thats says something! :)

Usually on backpackin' trips I will. We leave on Friday night after work and by the time we reach the trailhead, Im itchin' to get in the woods.

Hey all, We're planning a trip to AK in July and had a couple of different ideas on what we'd like to do, one idea being the hike to McGonagall Pass in the Denali backcountry. Has anyone done this trip...if so, how was the Mckinley River crossing? The trail description says the river crossing is...

Set out under beautiful sunny skies. Trail is in fine condition all the way to both summits. Clouds rolled in early PM and socked the views of the McIntyre Range in. Sled ride down was off the hook! :)

I second the Crest Trail. We did it a few years ago...Amazing scenery all the way! Marion Lake and Hurricaine Pass were my favorite spots on the trip. Heres some video from our outting:Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4.
