Aargh! I hate this s#%t! Developing these areas for a few megawatts of power...... :mad: So shortsighted..... I'm glad I had a chance to hike there before this development occurs. There's already a wind factory close by Snow on Rt. 27..... how many of these damn things do we need in the Stratton...

Gail and I did it from the south and had no problems, was a very enjoyable hike in an area we'd never explored before. The damage from Irene to the road before the hunter's cabin is incredible!

Worst hike Gail and I ever did..... :mad: We got there on our 2nd attempt but both times got swallowed up by some very evil woods. The forest is a mess around Loon Mt..... the summit having lots of litter around it. I would recommend doing this hike in cooler weather when long pants are...
