Three small mountains in the Plymouth area

I was stunned by the view from Pike's Peak last winter! Wasn't expecting it at all, wonderful surprise! The area around Pike's Peak is also popular with moose in the winter, as their tracks were the only ones out there that day......until we came along!!! We never went to the true summit that...

Great trip report!! I haven't made it out to Eagle Link.......yet! Those crossings sound dicey for sure, good for you to make it across! I probably would have chickened out! Congratulations on the list and the great moose antler find! That thing is huge! I was shocked the first time I picked up a decent sized antler.......those things are HEAVY! This post temps me to look into how many of the NH100 I've hiked......some knowingly and other just tagging along for the...

    Blueberry Mountain Trail temporarily reopened

I hiked it from the West on 9/7/12 - there was active logging going on, but signs or blazes in any spot that you needed to make a turn. Once past the area of logging, it was clear sailing!! Great trail! Enjoy!

    energy bars

I think I've tried every bar out there...........somewhat a staple on LD hikes........variety is key! I (like scarpy) recently became partial to the Probar (esp. original flavor....not so much the choco pistachio), almost taste like a homeade granola bar! Lots of good calories for the...
