Looks like fun guys! We love the challenge of following a trail less traveled, but this one kicked our butts a few yrs back and resorted us to bushwacking, which was also fun, just wasn't the plan for the day!! (that was 10/2007) So, kltilton ....Nice job!!! And I think I'm going to have to...

I was up there recently (first time in 9 yrs) and was trying to remember exactly where it took off from........lucky for me, there were old ski tracks that easily gave it away on this day....... but I don't remember the trail (once you are on it) ever being so WIDE........it was like a...

    Oak Hill, Concord area

Hello Mohammed! Oak Hill is a great little hill isn't it?! So many trails and you'd never know that you're basically right outside the city. The trails off Oak Hill Rd. are great, less used and make a wonderful loop, though the parking area is quite a bit smaller (might fit 2-3 cars there). :)

    Livermore Trail from Kanc--any info?

It's a wide spot, enough to fit 2-3 cars.....depending on how everyone parks/how big the cars are. Across the road is a pond where people frequently pull over to look for moose and there is more of a shoulder to park on there if the Livermore Tr. spot is full.

Yes, I agree too, beauty of a trail!! Last time I was up there, (begining of Sept.) it was a little wet at the top of the pass, nothing crazy, just have to watch where you step in the grassy areas. enjoy!

    Passaconaway Loop

Lots of great trails around Passaconaway, Kelley trail is a great one, if you're looking for a beauty of a trail to incorporate into your loop. If you have a 2nd car (or bike) for your loop, McCrillis Trail is a beautiful way up Whiteface. The shortest/easiest way to the summit is not always...

    Alcohol Stove

If you go with HEET, go with the Yellow heet, (it burns cleaner) and the Red seems to throw a larger flame!!! They are great, no moving parts, you can see how much fuel you have left and know how much more you need for a resupply, the one I made 7 yrs ago is still going strong! I've never used...
