It is a very popular place to ski. A strong XC skier should be able to make it too the top without skins. Not too sure I'd want to go down it on XC skis though.

Meb - are you using the men's or womens Ascents? I have had the same issue when using the wider men's version including tripping as I am sure you remember from our Bonds traverse last Winter, but since I started using the women's narrower version I have had no issues.
