Trails - Emily Proctor Trail and LT.

Trails - LT north from Rt 242 and the "illegally cut" herd path over to Big Jay.
Conditions - LT was dry with good footing. Herd path was also relatively dry, with some muddy spots which were easily avoided. A few blowdowns on herd path which is how it should be.

I agree with MichaelJ and McRat. I haven’t done these peaks yet but will soon. i enjoy doing the research and planning. I don’t want it to be easy! That’s why I have declined offers to hike these from people on here. I want the challenge of finding my way up there with a minimum amount of help...
In places supporting plenty of prey species (like CT), the females call a much smaller area home, like maybe a square mile or two, so yes, keep an eye out Chip and you may very well see more. I have seen many around my home. Cheers, Stu
