    Are crampons needed for North Brother?

    Very tough call! I think you will have to bring them because you won't know the conditions until the crux of the climb. I would not want to get that far in only to have to turn back or worse. Good luck on this and be safe. Cheers, Stu

    Finally Bondcliff - Sort of

    Congratulations on getting Bondcliff. I attempted the Bonds last winter and also got turned around at the Bondcliff wind-tunnel. You could hear it roaring like a freight train from the last brook crossing.:eek:
