    GPS Coordinates

    Looking at the National Geographic CD maps, I get... The SW summit is about 44-46.085 N & 70-46.898 W The NE summit is about 44-46.338 N & 70-46.458 W As far as getting readings while at the cannister...I don't have them. Hope this will help. Good Luck ;)

    FTFC Annual Awards Dinner

    Plan to visit the Boston Marathon Expo and drop off a friend who is running Monday. Then visit my Mom and go out for an early supper. Head up for the "awards" and perhaps put some faces to VFTT posts. Would like to watch the Women's Olympic Marathon Trials...but will settle for watching on TV.

    Hi Marty, I'm from Natick originally and am now in the Brattleboro, VT area. From Natick I'd go Rte 2 to I-91 north to exit 2 in Brattleboro. Then Rte 30 to Manchester. I do a short cut leaving Rte 2 in Erving to Northfield to Vernon to Brattleboro which would be OK if you know the way :D...

    Parking area on Rte 27 has room for a few cars. Packed by snowmobiles to about 1/2 mile from Snow Pond. Trail broken out to Summit :) with SOME bushwhacking on the mountain :eek: GPS says 16.6 miles, roundtrip Trip report to follow tomorrow... 3 days(and 48 minutes) left...
