Saw a big group coming up the Loop trail on Tumbledown (Weld) last weekend with their only gear being a water bottle they had to carry with their mouth to use their hands to get past some rocks, obviously, their shoes weren't any better ;)

Our combo is : peakbagger for reference, caltopo for prints when Delorme atlas is not enough, 64s (got it on sale to replace the 60csx) and Gaia app for overview / logging roads navigation.

Found another of those wind profiler near Leroy today (near the road that reaches ~ 2600').

The road network they need to build to set them up is a ugly scar...

Hopefully not, there is already 6 3k peaks with a wind farm (1 vt, 2 nh, 3 me) :(

We had 6 peaks left to complete the NH3k. On saturday morning, we went to Pittsburg to take the Cedar Stream rd. / Pisgah mountain rd. to first reach Pisgah (1 mile easy bushwhack from the road). We went further on that road than turned on a road I'm not sure of the name, we parked at the dead...

It's pretty bad by VT standard, but that's the way we did it 5 years ago (Bucklin TH to Pico then back to Killington then L. K. then Mendon then back to TH mostly following an old route).

Sadly this land was not part of the deal.
