    When we did Field, West, I was hopping to find some trace of it north of the A-Z trail, but we couldn't find any. edit : and when our friend did Field, West (in summer) he found out that south of the A-Z trail, it's draininage is pretty bad.

    Huge blowdown on Kate Sleeper trail

    Hi, I've heard two reports of a huge blowdown near East Sleeper, causing people to lose the trail. What is caused by hurricane Sandy ? I know for sure it wasn't there last winter. Any chance the WMNF or the AMC will clean up that trail that is not much used (I guess) anytime soon ?

    Hi, I'm curious to know why everybody (from what I've seen online) seems to prefer getting up & down on Abol slide trail instead of Hunt trail (A.T.) in winter conditon ? Are the scrambling sections of the latter worse than a possibly icy slide :confused:

    Hi, "Long-time" lurker doing a first TR here. After a few aborted attempt to do a Mahoosuc traverse backpack (bad weather, no partner for the shuttle, etc.) we finally decided to do a simpler Goose Eye - Succes loop from Success pond road on Veterans Day. The loggers are working right now...
