Looking good weather wise for this weekend!! We are planning on doing the suggested trip from Rte 302...leaving around 2pm (from Maine) to get to the campsites on Zealand Rd around 6 - 7ish pm. We will probably leave the campsite EARLY (4ish) to hit Zealand early and to the campsite early...

INTERESTING!!! Someone had recommended we come in via Lincoln woods...but...I like your idea...

75 people !!!:eek: What if, when you get there...there isn't room? We have a tent...and will bring it (of course)...they won't say "sucks to be you...go home" will they? They'll let us spend the night...SOMEWHERE in our tent...hopefully...?

had a car spot...right? As we have a 3.5 hr drive...we only take one car. Talking to myself is ok...but not for almost 4 hours :rolleyes:

Only problem is...can't do a car spot. We'd have to go BACK...and hit W. Bond on the way out...was hoping to only have to do 15ish miles ONE of the days... But...suggestions?

Thanks... 2. Trail between Guyout and Zealand...how is it? tagging it on the 1st day (after Bond and Bond cliff...and before spending the night at the shelter) is what we would like to do...but, that will depend how the trail is...steep, hard to find, ledgy, trolls, killer moose...stuff like that

Interestingly...when we did Isolation last weekend...we descended via the Bootspur trail (up glen boulder trail) and then took the Lost Pond trail back to the Glen Falls parking area...other than one area that we kind of lost the trail (thanks to whomever tied the bandana at the area we lost the...

My error...I ment that we only had Wildcat D in the Wildcat range...actually, we have done 29 now...so only have 19 left (not quite as impressive but...we're getting there) :)

We just have wildcat D left... Want to go up the Wildcat ridge trail from Glen Falls parking lot. What is the consensus...up and back via this route? Up the ridge trail...down the ski trail? If the ski trail...how long a road walk back to the car? Thanks.

he he he...We might have given them a bit more than they were ready for...:o They have hiked some much smaller stuff in with us in Maine (Camden State Park...7.0 miles and Acadia...6.0ish miles) but nothing with this length or rough terrain. I know that Aaron is interested in the Precipice...
