I was scared!! It took some convincing for me to continue up to the summit - the attitude of certain people rattled me way more than the climbing. Some people carried large packs w/ poles sticking out and it was sketchy thinking that I could be swiped off w/ an unexpected jab. Way too many...

10k?!! I think that w/ your training it would be likely that your body has increased it's efficiency to the level where a lifesaver or two should suffice. ps my fav flavor is wintergreen!:cool:

What do you expect from a Girl!? Howdy! I wash my stuff all the time! I hike/trailrun lots and wash my sneaks every time w/ SOAP! The dirt / grime wears them down and they stink. I dry them really well by putting them near the woodstove or in the sunshine. I was my clothing everytime also...

So HOW did the kilt help? You took off your kilt for the lovely lady and all the others took off running scared into the woods thereby giving her plenty of privacy?? :D VERY Cool idea! :D
