Bare-booted to the summit and back. Did not need and traction, although we sometimes contemplated putting on our snowshoes, but did not need to do so. A beautiful day and not as cold as the temperature would have suggested.

I'm planning on hiking the osceolas and hancocks this weekend. I know that washington was dumped on with lots of snow. does anyone know the snow conditions of these mountains? what gear would you suggest I bring? thanks, Deborah
