I haven't gotten my own copy yet, but I did see the book this weekend, and its looks like a great one. Good job, Spence!

And lets not forget that hat....only real woodsmen wear hats like that. :cool:

Lets also remember that the spirit of the adirondacks is NOT FOUND on a map, but in out hearts and soul. Spencer will give a us handrail, so to speak, but it is in our own discovery that we will find the true measure of Adirondack spirituality that draws us to these peaks.

The seclusion is what draws us to them, and the book only mearly adds a = focus so that we can can be loosley guided. Listen to your soul, the peaks will speak to you. Spence, just helps us to hear them ;)

Tim-The wise man speaks. ;) As he says the hike is in the heart of the climber. With bushwhacking there is no trail to guide. Only a direction to point your feet.
