It's been a while since Cantdog and I have hiked together on an "M" trail, like the "M"id-State and "M"etacomet-Monadnock. We figure it's time to start a new one. Could be a list in the making... New England long distance trails that start with "M"?!
We'll be starting with sections 1 and 2 but without the summit of Monadnock. Cantdog said the length is 13.15 miles. We'll be spotting a car on the northern end at the crossing of route 9, then driving to the southern end to begin our northbound hike.
