If anyone cares ;) tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. I will attempt my first 100. This should cater to my strengths on more technical footing and most climbs between 1 and 2 thousand feet. There is a 40 hour cutoff and the course is unmarked so navigation is essential. It takes place in the Lake District which is in northwest england and a 6 hour drive from our flat in London. post race report to come next week. www.lakeland100.com

Potential Foreigner

Just keep in mind that you don't need to actually try and do well. If you just walk it out and just miss the cutoff you can wow us with stories of how you persevered. Before you write the report could you post about how awesome it is going to be like all your other reports?

6800 meters? why don't you try using a measuring system that makes sense.

how many kilometers is 100 miles? do i need a yard stick to convert?

Best of luck! That looks like an awesome event. Can't wait to do my first 100... in a year from now .

dude,
nobody cares about the UK....

anyone else tracking this dude?
he seems to be doing amazingly well!!!
hope he doesnt burn out. 100 miles is a freaking looooong run!

good job farmer!

So far so good through checkpoint 10 - 17th place! Checkpoint 11 isn't reporting.

I looked at the race info again and it appears that once they have three at the finish the others place where they are instead of completing the 100. I could be wrong but this is how it looks to me.
