I just got a notice for this today:

there's a meeting tomorrow on the Kanc (at the Russell-Colbath house, it's that "historic" area midway across the Kanc) discussing various things about the new forest plan including GIS + Wilderness + other things, then a field trip to Rocky Gorge & Bartlett Experimental Forest.
I am assuming this is open to the general public (since I'm only a member of the general public, don't know why they sent it to me -- other than maybe once you give them a certain # of phone calls, they put you on their list), though it's not clear from the newsletter.
