End up being an awesome day for Allen, driving up we thought it would be xtreme wind
and kold. Started kold but by the time we summited the winds were pretty kalm for
a summit. Trail is in great shape, 6 hikers going in and out yesterday. Go for it now if you
need a long hike under your belt. The brook and slide were awesome, krazy butt sliding
on way out, awesome view of the stars when you stop and shut your headlamps.
12 1/2 hr at girlfriends pace
, 32wtr for GF..Sure is one l o n g approach for 1 peek,
more so when you look back from the summit and see how indirect the route is........
