Trail Conditions: Excellent from upper road crossing

Special Equipment Required: Wind Gear

Comments: Optional - Very windy day !. The road approach is still interesting. The three blowdowns mentioned in the other post were not an issue. The left turn off the main road to cross the two bridges is not marked except for numerous snow machines trail signs (its a three way intersection). The road is rough, low ground clearance cars will have to drive slow and avoid the rocks. No issues with a truck. The second bridge has a bit of a washout/low spot on one side of the bridge, Easily managable but low cars should think about it. The road to the upper crossing is bony and washed out in a few spots, its best left for high clearance vehicles. FYI, the cabin is an interesting historical artifact, but is quite beat up and most would regard it as an unpleasant place to spend a night.

Great hike with great views for not a lot of time.
