Trail Conditions: Amphi in great shape - EASY trail. Spur in pretty good shape. This and Lowe's Path made an easy ascent to Adams. Upper Airline, Gulfside, Osgood and Airline Cutoff in good shape. Airline below cutoff had some muddy spots, but easily managed.

Special Equipment Required: wind layers and possibly light gloves up near Adams summit. It was cool and windy!

Comments: Great views into King Ravine and to summits from outlooks on Spur Trail and at other points. Nice cascades on Amphi and lower Spur. Passed several junctions with some lightly used trails that Sapblatt and I did a few years ago (Monoway, Cliffway, etc.). That brought back some great memories . Clouds seemed to follow me as I ascended both summits, so VFTT were restricted.

The highlight of the trip came when descending the Airline. This guy and I exchanged hellos. He saw my VFTT shirt and inquired. It turned out to be none other than the man himself, Forest Gnome!:cool::cool:. Patrick, it was GREAT to meet and chat with you today! Hope our paths cross frequently and soon. :)

I am really glad I wore my VFTT shirt today! :D
