Trail: Lowe's Path, Airline, King Ravine

Trail Conditions: Lowe's Path has general grades and good footing for the first twoish miles. From there until treeline it's rooty and rocky. The trail was pretty slick descending after the rain during the week so it dries slowly in the woods. Above treeline the trail is in excellent shape and easy to follow. Airline from the top of King Ravine is boulder hopping with rugged footing but easy to follow. King Ravine until Mossy Falls has moderate grades with ok footing, the water crossings were small and easy. From Mossy Falls the trail becomes extremely rough, we went through the Subway and Ice Caves. the trail is blazed and goes over and under huge boulders. Some are lemon-squeezers, big packs need to be removed in spots. The headwall is steep and rough but easy to follow.

Parked at Lowe's General Store, it costs money to park there, pay inside.

Comments:
One of my favorite trails :) If you never been to the King Ravine move it up to the top of your list, a true playground for hikers! Pictures
