Hiked Adams on 6/13/2009.
Ascended to Madison Hut via Valley Way. It was muddier than usual due to heavy rains the previous day. Ascended to summit via Gulfside/Airline and the trails were in fine shape. We intended to descend Airline to Scar Trail, but it was threatening rain so we bailed out and took the Upper Bruin back to the VW. The Upper Bruin was also a bit muddy but not bad, and no blowdowns to negotiate. No speacial equipment was needed.
As I'm located in Cleveland, OH, I spend a lot of time reading this forum and only get a few hikes a year in the Whites. The weather was decent for this hike and I'm easily putting this one in the win column.
