Adk Backcountry Snow/Ice Conditions???

Hello. I'm heading up to the Adk High Peaks region tomorrow for a few days and I was wondering what the snow and lake ice conditions are like. Is there snow at the trailheads? Also, are the lakes frozen and crossable yet? We'll be starting at Upper Works and heading towards the Flowed Lands. After the rain a few days ago, I wasn't sure how much snow would be left. Thanks.
