If you're interested in this gem my 13 year old son and I are doing this hike on Saturday. We are being dropped off and picked up at the Garden so parking won't be a problem. If you want to join us we can meet at Marcy Field.

Neil, I hope you have better luck than us at finding the base of the slide. We ended up finding it right above where the split is. It's a great climb. I'm taking my girlfriend up to the blue mountain area for the weekend. A little hiking, a little water safari(enchanted forest). See you on tuesday for nippletop.
