Hardpack ice/frozen snow all the way up to 4000' then a couple of inches of snow on hardpack to treeline. From there to summit, ice in all forms. With the 30 mph winds, definitely crampon country and careful route selection in case of being blown over by a gust and and going for a slide. Surprisingly, the summit was in a wind null and toasty-warm with brilliant sun at 17º F. A perfect day to have the peak to myself! The higher, the fewer!
