After a warm up yesterday on White-Esther today I try those 4 summits
for the second time.
Lots of water on the trail, in some part the trail was a brook. Very cold
at each summit. I start this time by Algonquin (last it was suppose to be
my 4th mtn). Start at 5:30 am, I past another hiker going for Algonquin-
iroquis (I think that he turn before the summit). Very slippery going up
but I made it at 8:00 am. Went down by lake colden side and more water
and the brook and stream was very high. Had to cross it many time but no
problem. In going down I tell myself that it was enough. At lake colden intersection I change my mind and decide to go for Skylight-marcy (don't
want to past by lake Avalanche), very windy and cold near lake colden.
more water going up the uphill trail and this time the brook was very hard
to cross. I had to go in the water, the water started to enter in my boots.
I continued and don't want to turn back.
At 4 corners it looks more 4 brooks than 4 trails. I go for skylight in the
brook (trail) till the summit, very windy and cold. One picture and I went
back to 4 corners and for Marcy. Very slippery on marcy big rock but
manageable. At marcy summit it was very windy and cold, I had to use
my winter gear on each summit(hat, gloves, face mask, gore tex xcr coat).
very slippery going down marcy and windy, at haystack junction i decided
that I had enough and went down to adk loj. Finsh at 6:20 pm.

Each day had great moment. Never see some so beautiful and big water
fall in those brook.

Some day I will attemp a third attemp on those 4, between this summer
and next spring and will post. :) :) :)

The third attemp we be the good one, this winter it took me 3 attemp
to get Marcy and I got it. :) :) :)
