Did trip as a backpack, camped at Skylight Brook and climbed Allen on Sat. The reconstruction of the causeway over the arm of Lake Jimmy has been finished. The crossing of the Opalscent was ankle-deep due to dry conditions. Although the Allen Brook was also running low the brown algae was slippery even where it was dry. Minor blowdown scattered from Ward Brook Leanto jct. to Skylight Brook. No bugs! A very pleasant backpack.
