Trails muddy, wet. Crossing of the Opalescent was an easy wade with water below the knees. Even lower three days later on the way out. Camped three nights at the site of the former Gorge lean to which is a good site with reasonable day hikes to both Allen and Iroquois.
Hike up Allen was made slower by wet, slippery rock and mud but there were very few bugs! The views were great.
The trail from Lake Colden to the Iroquois trail was good. However, the route through the 3 cols to Iroquois was very muddy (not really new info). Great weather and views.

No special equipment. Bug repellant not necessary except for especially sensitive people.
