Despite the fact that we didn't hike any peaks, this was a Mount Everest sort of weekend for Brian and me. The walk along the beach on Plum Island yesterday was fine, too.
We started our Everest expedition on Saturday night, watching Conrad Ankor's "The Wildest Dream" (http://shop.nationalgeographic.com/ngs/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=2000505&code=NG90389) from Netflix, and concluding on Sunday night with a History Channel geology dvd, Season Two of "How The Earth Was Made" that included a show on how Mt. Everest was formed (http://www.history.com/shows/how-the-earth-was-made/episodes) We recommend both.
