Ansel Adams at MFA

Just a quick "thumbs up" for the Ansel Adams exhibit at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. Went to see it on Saturday.

Lots of rare originals and a great deal of his “other” work (outside National Parks) that were fantastic.

MFA could have done a better job of spacing out the crowd (sold out), but all and all a good way to spend a rainy Saturday afternoon.

The exhibit was up here for a few months at the University of Maine Museum of Art. I saw it on it's last day a couple of weeks ago.

it was pretty cool, although it didn't have nearly as many of his famous ones as another show I saw of his several years ago at a museum I worked at in VT.

imagine that, the MMA got it before the MFA. who'da thunk it?
