Location
Fairfax, VA... land of the 2-hour commute
Well, any except the 3 in Baxter, that is.

What pace do I hike at?

If you're slower than I am, then YOUR pace- I'm more concerned about safety than showing off.

On the other hand, if you're worried about me holding you back, today after slacking off most of the winter on my running, I did 3.71 miles in 30 minutes on a treadmill & felt like I should have pushed myself harder.

Am I an experienced hiker?
56/67.

I have the following dates available:

3/18, Saturday;
I don't hike on Sundays.
3/20, Monday (Winter ends at 1:26p)

1st person willing to commit to a hike chooses from the following:

A. The Horn/Saddleback
14.6 round trip, 7.3 one-way; or if done from ski area, 7+ miles.

B. Crocker/S. Crocker/Redington
Round-trip CVR-Crocker/S. Crocker 6.2 miles + Redington bushwack. Add to this the 1+ mile hiking in from where CVR (Caribou Valley Road) isn't plowed.

C. Sugarloaf/Spaulding/Abraham
Round trip CVR-Abraham 17.2 miles
If this is too much for 1 day, I'm willing to break it up into 2 hikes.

D. Bigelows, Avery Peak/West Peak
via fire warden’s trail, 10.6 miles round-trip.

E. Old Speck
3.8 miles 1-way, 7.6 round trip
