Anyone been up Saddleback lately?

I'm talking about climbing the cliff of course. Is it icy? I know we should get a bit of snow this week but does anyone know if it's possible (not too crazy) using only crampons? I'm not too fond of heights and wouldn't want to try it unless the conditions are optimals. Someone also told me about an easier passage to the right?

The common wisdom is to slide right if you encounter treacherous conditions. This worked for me once, although it was a tall person's route. We had to help shorter people up a steep chute with the unorthodox use of an ice axe!
