Here's the plan for next change to SUNDAY, 9/13 on account of weather forecast
Rt. 108 to Chin via Long Trail;
Down Sunset Ridge
Up Laura Cowles
LT or Subway/Canyon/North/Extension to Halfway House;
Down Halfway House
Across CCC Road, up lower Maple Ridge
Across Rock Garden
Up Wampahoofus
Down Forehead Bypass
Up LT to Forehead (ladders! hooray!)
LT to Toll Road
Down Haselton/Nosedive, return to car.
~16 miles, 6900' vertical.
I'm basically subbing this in place of a medium long run (16-18) in my training for a late October marathon. I anticipate starting at first light (say, 6 AM, but we can talk about exact times) and getting back to the car as far before dark as possible. Should be a glorious outing ...
