Hi,
Just found out this week that my wife and daughter are traveling to Nebraska this Fourth of July. So, I have the very rare opportunity of 4 free days to hike in the Northeast from 7/2-7/5/2010. I am looking to do some longer dayhikes that I haven't done before in the Northeast. I have done the one day Presidential, Pemi, Devil's Path, and Hut Traverse (actually 28 hours due to violent weather). My interests in no particular order are:
1. Mahoosuc Traverse
2. Grafton Notch Loop Trail
3. Pemi Loop (never done it in a day in good weather)
4. As many ME peaks as I can physically do in one day (Rangley / Stratton Region)
5. Knock out a long section of the AT in NH/ME
I could probably be talked into anything. I do find that I definitely prefer a hiking partner on the longer hikes, and I hope there are some folks interested and available to hike during this time. Thanks.
